Read the Bhagavadgita (The Song of God) online – This is a must read for anyone interested in Yoga. Written about 500 BC, the Bhagavadgita is a concise summary of India's Vedic wisdom and the ways of true devotion as a Bhakti Yogi. It is a question and answer conversation between man (as Arjuna) and the Lord (as Krishna). The first few pages are confusing but thereafter it is an easy read. One of the most incredible books I have ever read. Here are the links to two different versions:

Read the Hatha Yoga Pradipika online – Hatha vidya (wisdom, knowledge, art and science) was set down in the Hatha yoga Pradipika by Yogi Svatmarama who, it is thought, lived between the twelfth and fifteenth centuries. The Pradipika has thus been referred to as one of the earliest additions to the literature of yoga, which goes back to the Vedas (1500 bc). This is a must read for anyone wishing to take their practice seriously.
