Our signature “Yoga and Meditation Retreat” 

Saturday, March 10, 9 – 4 pm at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society

This retreat is a balance of classical yoga and mindful awareness. Through meditation and posture investigation, ILY Director Tony Riposo leads a profoundly nurturing and personal experience into the realm of conscious awareness and self-discovery. This retreat promises to be one of the most peaceful experiences you’ll ever have. There are no prerequisites, and it is appropriate for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced. What to expect: This is not a “yogathon” nor is it a day to prove how good you are at yoga; it is a wonderful day of being with yourself, a day full of investigation and exploration.

There will be several guided meditation and breathing segments and in-depth posture experiences led with modifications and explorative expressions as well as lots of time for extended relaxation.

The day will not be intensive or demanding but it will be full (of the good stuff) and leave you feeling revived, renewed, whole, nurtured, refreshed and peaceful.

The day will be broken into two equal halves. Both will include everything you are accustomed to in your regular class experience: meditation, breathing, posture exploration and, of course, the deep stillness of relaxation. These practices will be extended in time for a deeper experience. For this reason, you could bring any additional benches, pillows and blankets you need to ensure your comfort.

Plan to bring your own light lunch and, if you like, a snack. There is a kitchen available for heating and storage of your food. There will be three breaks counting the lunch break so that you can take care of any needs you may have without missing any part of the retreat program.

Pre registration is required to confirm space availability. Register by email Registration@InfiniteLightYoga.com or with any ILY teacher. Once registration is confirmed, payment is due by March 3, 2012.

The cost for the March retreat is $60.

CE credits - This retreat qualifies for CE credits (continuing education credit) for yoga teachers. ($15 additional fee)
