Shauna Teelin Bio

Shauna Teelin

Shauna TeelinI came to the practice of yoga as an injured athlete; my physical therapist recommended it as a way to help me regain my range of motion. Yoga helped me with the injury, but its additional mind, body and spirit benefits have kept me involved in the practice since 2003.

At that time, I was a neuro-science pharmaceutical representative with a working knowledge of the mind-body connection from a Western medicine model. During my yoga teacher training, however, I personally experienced the power of uniting the mind, body and spirit (life force, breath). I believe that each time one steps on the mat, he or she is a different person and can gain a different benefit from each day’s practice.

My classes include a focus on your intention for the day and the unique benefit gained from your practice. There is no score kept in yoga; it is a collective journey towards wellness. I welcome you and look forward to guiding you along your journey.

In addition to my Infinite Light Yoga certification, I am also YogaFit level 1 certified. I teach experiential ILY classes, and I also offer corporate yoga programs, which can be tailored to your business' preference.

I find having yoga and meditation in my life makes me happier and more comfortable in my daily activities. Knowing how these practices affect us makes me want to do them more; bringing theory and practice together. Namaste, Shauna
